Silver Plated Conductors

LEONI Temco have been manufacturing and supplying silver plated wire to several industries for many years. As a quality silver wire supplier, LEONI Temco only use pure diamond dies and 99.99% pure silver to ensure total quality and complete product reliability.

The properties of Silver Plated Conductors are far better than either bare or Tin Plated Copper.

• Silver plated wire can withstand higher temperatures upto 200°C and is not affected by extremely low temperatures (important for use in aircraft and aerospace).
• Silver plated wire has excellent surface conductivity (skin effect) which is important for the production of high frequency and radio frequency cables, increased silver plating thickness upto 20% may further enhance the frequency speed.
• Silver plated wires are very suitable for high temperature insulating eg. PTFE, TEFZEL, FEP etc. either extruded or tape-wrapped.

Silver Plated Conductors are produced in the following forms:

• Single end
• Unilay strand
• True Concentric strand
• Bunch and Smooth Bunch
• Ready wound on multiend braider bobbins
• Roll flattened in tape form
