Nickel Plated Conductors

LEONI Temco have been supplying nickel plated wire to cable makers and component manufacturers for many years, as nickel plated wires offer a much more versatile conductor.

• Nickel plated wire has excellent corrosion resistance properties.
• Nickel plated wires are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 750°C depending on plating thicknesses which are available up to 27%.
• Nickel plated wires are increasingly specified for the production of high performance cables in hazardous environments.
• Nickel plated wire is very suitable for all types of high temperature insulating including PTFE, TEFZEL, Glass Fibre, Silicone, PFA etc.

We manufacture nickel plated wires with a variety of core materials and with plating thicknesses from 2% upto 27% they are available in:

• True Concentric strand
• Bunch and Smooth Bunch
• Ready wound on multiend braider bobbins
